Kennedy Young Garcin's Twenty-two thousand square foot mansion was modeled after an English country estate. The residence was constructed of English brownstone, with a pumpkin colored slate roof, and cobblestone walkways. Ivy covered most of the walls, while massive flowering bushes and shrubs dominated the landscaping. The manor was nestled on some twenty seven acres, and included two stables, and two riding rings. Kennedy's prized Arabian's even had their own natural spring fed drinking pond.

Inside of the mansion, a formal two story foyer greeted the guest. It was inside of this massive dark wood entryway, that Chloe found herself waiting impatiently. She had been to Kennedy's home too many times to count, and she felt quite at home. This evening however, she found herself wiping her hands on her Chanel pants, as she listened to her friends in the living room chattering away. The maid had asked her to wait in the foyer while she summoned her mistress, instead of inviting her into the room with the other club members, and perhaps that's why she felt so uneasy. Kennedy, Dakota, and Jordyn strolled into the foyer. They each took turned exchanging hugs with her.

“We have to talk,” Kennedy told her.

“About what?” Chloe asked.

“About the cotillion and the book club meeting.” Dakota told her.

Chloe exhaled. “What about them?”

“Your disagreement with Madison, Taylor, Jasmine, and Skylar.” Jordyn told her.

“We can't have you ladies going at each others throats.” Dakota added.

“So we came up with a solution.” Kennedy told her.

“And that is?”

“Come with me.” Kennedy told her.

Chloe followed Kennedy down the hall to her study, where she through open the double doors. To Chloe's surprise, Madison, Skylar, and Taylor were already inside. They could here the doorbell ring.”

“Have you ladies started talking yet?” Kennedy asked.

Madison folded her arms, and leaned back against the desk. “You can't keep us here.”

“Yeah, there are laws against this kind of thing,” Taylor added.

“My father's a federal appeals court judge, I think I may be able to get away with it.” Kennedy told them.

“You've imprisoned them?” Chloe asked.

“Us.” Kennedy told her. “You should have asked if I have imprisoned us, meaning you too.”

“I can't believe this.” Chloe said, shaking her head.

“Get in there.” Kennedy told her, nodding toward the room.

Chloe exhaled and stomped into the study.

“Here's the last one,” Jordyn said, walking up behind them with Jasmine in tow.

“Dakota waved her hand toward the inner sanctums of the study. “Be my guest.”

“This is called kidnapping!” Taylor shouted.

“You came here willingly.” Kennedy told her.

Jasmine huffed and walked into study.

“Be advised. None of you are leaving this room, until you have talked things out. Understood?” Kennedy peered around the room, staring into each of their faces. She then smiled and closed the double doors.
